dimespin:kalamburd does not exist, but is in fact a hoax crafted in ancient times by five men seeking to know the true nature of the platonic ideal of a candy bar. Between them they dared design the image of an artist, painting with a magic adding machine in the forbidden hues of the rainbow. If their calculations were correct, they would witness the essence of a candy bar once a specific number of people believed that the artist was real, allowing a vast number of people to support the image in their minds. But alas, when the candy bar was finally witnessed, no one managed to record it before the entire city was beset by madness and sunk into the sea. That city was Atlantis. The few survivors went on to found all the candy manufacturers of the world, but they can only churn out poor imitations of the perfect candy bar, and all committed suicide in their despair. The pain of never again seeing the perfect candy bar was too great.
Today in Norway the program has begun anew, now using Livejournal to spread the insanity before the ideal image of a candy bar is once again lost to time.
